Please bike with my 5-year-old son and I on Tuesday, August 13th (the 1st day of school in the Orinda Union School District) from Holy Sheppard Lutheran Church to Glorietta Elementary School.
Why?
The route is treacherous, so to better protect our child, we’re asking for wingpeople willing to join us for the 10-12 minute ride.
Where and When?
Meet in the Holy Sheppard Lutheran Church parking lot at 7:45 AM. After a few minutes to greet, assess and strategize, we’ll depart at 8:00 AM with an anticipated arrival time at Gloretta School 10-12 minutes later.
Who?
Sammy and I welcome any and all cyclists willing to help us get to school that first day, and, if you’re free for more than one morning, sign up to be one of Sammy’s Heroes.
